Project Fairlane for SEMA 2013
On the Road to SEMA: Project Fairlane
With SEMA just weeks away, we wanted to share one of the project cars that will be at the show sporting a Champion Cooling Systems radiator under the newly painted hood.
Project Fairlane is a 1967 Fairlane that is being refurbished specifically for the show. A barn find, the rusty Fairlane has been at Bare Bones Custom Paint and Speed Shop for body and paint work, and recently came back to California for installation of the drivetrain and finishing touches.
Champion Cooling Systems will be providing a polished three-row all-aluminum radiator to cool the newly installed big block 390/427 ci engine. Numerous other sponsors include Flowmaster, Cragar, Ford Racing, Gulf, MP Speed Apparel, Scott-Drake, The Gentleman Racer, SSBC, Crites Restoration, Bare Bones and Auto Krafters.
We're pretty sure the old girl won't be recognizable at SEMA after all the special attention she's getting. You'll be able to see her in the Meguiars' Booth at the show. If you don't make the show, don't worry. We'll be posting lots of pics as well.
